ASSISTANT MANAGER
We are a fast growing Housing Cooperative Society which deals with purchase of land and selling to members with a membership from Government Ministries, Parastatals, private organizations and individual members.
The Board, Hazina Housing Cooperative Society, wishes to recruit an Assistant Manager on a two-year renewable contract.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Coordinating all day-to-day activities of the society
- Monitor performance across all departments and guide directors in achieving targets.
- Oversee overall business operations and ensure profitability
- Implement society’s strategic plan and long-term goals
- Prepare and oversee the society’s financial strategies, budgets and forecasts
- Drive innovation and ensure compliance with tax regulations and company policies
- Oversee advertising, social media and promotional campaigns.
- Manage relationships with banks, investors, all stakeholders and financial institutions
- Supervision and overseeing all the staff in society.
- Support internal and external audits
- Any other duties that may be assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- CPA (K) or equivalent certification preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of accounting, administration, leadership roles and team management experience
- Proficiency in Computer Applications (QuickBooks, MS Office)
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Certificate of good conduct

INTERNSHIP
We are a fast growing Housing Cooperative Society which deals with purchase of land and selling to members with a membership from Government Ministries, Parastatals, private organizations and individual members.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Able to work with minimum supervision.
- Participate in society’s sales, marketing and educational activities
- Good in digital and online marketing
- Assist in implementation of the society’s Customer Service Charter
- Assist in member recruitment and retention strategies,
- Conduct member satisfaction surveys.
- Coordinate the Societies educational programs.
- Perform any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Marketing, Finance or Accounting
- Computer literacy (MS Office, Social Media promotions)
- Good communication skills –Verbal and written
- Aged 25 Years and above
- Basic accounting skills is an added advantage.
